he technical processing of the collections documents the following stages:
Manner of acquisition of the item;
Entry into the collection by registry in the Entry Records System;
Forwarding it to the appropriate sector;
Numbering of the registration process and including it in the collection’s documentation system, which includes its location and follow-up on its physical and intellectual care and conservation.

Since 1994, the computerization project, embodied in the Villa-Info system, has collaborated uniquely in the operationalization of this process, as it has allowed the institution to have control of the physical and intellectual care and the state of conservation of the collections, cross-referencing of all the museum and library collections, and faster and more efficient access to information about the collections.
